Bird-watching More than 100 bird species have been recorded in the conservancy. Diverse landscapes and elevations provide an opportunity to fly with some of the great raptors such as the Fish Eagle, Black Eagle, Crowned Eagle, Jackal Buzzard and Gymnogene.
| Fly-Fishing Fishing, kloofing and swimming, in both the Keurbooms River and Diep River, is allowed as part of the game trail experience. Trout fishing is allowed by catch and release only. |
Mountain Biking | With more than 40 km of challenging tracks starting and finishing at the Prince Alfred's Pass, this activity includes a new venture in bicycle tourism where you can ride to your campsite or chalet and encounter game on the way. |
Hiking Routes A range of trails following old game and elephant paths, are being developed. Enjoy hiking amongst tame antelope in a remote sanctuary. Choose between short (1-4 hour) hikes, full day hikes or overnight ventures . | Camping We offer both tented camps (which are fully equipped), and bush camps (basic). Campsites are situated close to the Keurbooms and Diep River in the heart of the Middle Keurbooms Conservancy. |
